BABE's 1 YEAR BIRTHDAY BASH!
Well, I must say, I was shocked at the response at the Birthday Bash.  I mean, we had about 12 people waiting outside to be let in at 6:00.  I'm not sure if it's because they wanted first pick at the brand new-ly stocked racks (stocked specifically for the party), or they wanted to make sure to get a gift bag... but they were here and they got both!  We had 50 fabulous gift bags, which were all gone within the first 45 minutes (now I know for next time, more gift bags needed!). 

Gift bags included the following: Babe Tank, Can't Hang CD and koozie, Hollywood Fashion Tape sample pack, Smyth Jewelers jewelry cleaner and magnet, Steve Madden cosmetic case, luggage tag, and pen, Free People change purse/headband, CIBU travel hair products, Bubbles Salon Discount Card, Funky Beehive necklace/coupon, coupons for the Bottom Drawer and Remember When (other fantastic Federal Hill boutiques), and Flyers for upcoming HeidNSeek Events. Thank you very much to all of our Gift Bag contributors!

Needless to say, the gift bags were awesome, so hopefully everyone liked them.  For those who weren't able to get a gift bag, we at least gave them a Babe tank - so that nobody left empty handed!

The store was packed with people all night.  We even had to come up with a numbering system for the fitting room line, b/c there were 5 to 6 people deep waiting.  WOW!  The delicious food from Metropolitan was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone... Tony sure did work his magic with that crab dip.  The wine was flowing all night - we killed a whole case of wine within the first two hours.  Luckily there is a liquor store across the street, so we were able to get more!

We had 2 Raffles: 1 for a $50 Gift Certificate to Babe, and 1 for a Free Pair of Hudson Jeans.  I am happy to say that both winners are big Babe supporters, so it was a great outcome... All that hard-earned shopping paid off for them! 

Sooo... here's to another fabulous year ahead!  I want to thank everyone for supporting Babe.  I am more than honored to know that people really like the store and everything that comes with it.  I hope to see you soon!
