Owner Lisa Ponzoli has been in the fashion industry for over 10 years and has worked for both major retail corporations, as well as start-up designers.  Beginning her career in a boutique environment focusing on superior customer service and visual merchandising, she then moved into the buying offices at Nordstrom and was also an Assistant Buyer in the Juniors Apparel Department for May Company.  Continuing to grow and learn all aspects of the fashion industry, Lisa moved into a sales rep position for an apparel/lifestyle brand based out of Washington, DC.  Traveling to fashion trade shows throughout the US was an amazing learning experience, as she gained a full understanding of the industry as a whole.  Dabbling in some design and production/manufacturing for another up-and-coming DC apparel brand brought her experience full-circle.

Lisa's goal when opening this shop was to have a boutique environment but without extravagant prices ... It doesn't have to cost a fortune to look fabulous. 

Inside BABE., there is a fine focus on customer service, while also having a very genuine and easy-going vibe.   Our favorite thing is when some girlfriends come in and have themselves a fashion show, laugh, and have a good time.  That's what it's all about, anyway - having a good time, and looking good while doing it.
